Action academy
The four challenges we’ve designed for this semester.
Why Join a Challenge?
Because action is powerful.
Young people don’t just want to learn—they want to do. Our challenges give students the chance to tackle real-world problems, build skills, and see themselves as innovators, all while working alongside peers and mentors from around the globe.
By collaborating on challenges, students discover the impact of collective action—and how much can be achieved when ideas and effort are shared.
Together, we turn learning into meaningful change.
Challenges
-

Fall in Love with Nature
Step outside, unplug, and reconnect with the natural world! This challenge invites students and educators to explore their surroundings, notice what’s happening in local ecosystems, and reflect on how nature inspires care and action.
Track your discoveries, get creative with journals, sketches, or photos, and share your experiences with a global community of changemakers. Reconnect, observe, and take part in protecting the planet—one mindful moment in nature at a time.
-

Materials Matter
Every product you use has an impact on our planet — from packaging to buildings. Around 80% of a product’s environmental footprint is determined at the design stage, meaning your ideas and creativity can make a real difference.
The Materials Matter Challenge invites students, educators, and innovators to explore the world around them, investigate sustainable alternatives, and reimagine everyday materials for a healthier planet.
-

Cook for Climate
Discover how everyday food choices can make a difference for the planet. Try plant-based meals, explore global flavors, and share your favorite recipes while connecting with a worldwide community building a more climate-friendly food system.
-

Rewild Your World
Nature can recover—and you can help. Take simple, hands-on actions to support wildlife where you live, from planting wildflowers to creating habitats. Join a global community rewilding neighborhoods, schools, and shared spaces for a healthier, more resilient planet.
